Airbags

Front driver and passenger airbags come standard across the entire Mazda2 range. Side (front) and curtain (front and rear) airbags are standard on Maxx, Genki and optional on Neo (Safety Pack) providing added peace of mind for you and your loved ones.

Anti-Lock brakes

In the event of hard braking, the Mazda2 ABS braking system will stop you from skidding allowing you to maintain steering control. In addition, the Electronic Brake-force Distribution system (EBD) distributes braking force between front and rear, optimising stopping distances.

Dynamic Stability Control

We know how important it is to feel safe. our uncompromising approach results in standard Dynamic Stability Control (DCS) across the Mazda2 range. DSC helps the driver out of sticky situations where under steer or over steer is detected.

MAIDAS

MAIDAS means Mazda Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption System and is an important system that maintains the integrity of the occupants cell, reducing the risk of serious injury. Essentially, the body architecture features a "Triple H' structure that protect, disperse and absorb impact in the case of an accident.
